Translation for those annoyed by the code monkeys

I REALLY SHOULD SEND THIS AS AN AUDIO FILE, JUST TO MAKE YOU WORK FO IT A LITTLE.

I CAN`T IMAGINE HAVING TO DO THIS MANUALLY.

WHAT YOU CHEAT AND USE A TRANSLATOR? I KNEW CODE BY SOUND WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. LIKE ANYTHING ELSE THOUGH, IF YOU DON`T USE IT YOU LOOSE IT. NOW I`M ASHAMED TO SAY I HAVE TO USE THE TRANSLATOR TOO.

Check this out, I was surprised at which was faster (super fast SMS texter, or 2 older morse code operators), surprising twist at the end!

Class finished today. I believe everyone passed their technician test. The General level was offered at no extra charge and a few of us also passed that. Now to wait for my call letters.

Thanks MUCH to Streetgang for hosting this class.

It was educational and actually enjoyable (ok -- so I'm a bit of a masochist). Looking forward to the general class later in the year.

Make that "... a BIT of a masochist...". Doh!

Congrats to everyone who completed their test. This thread got me interested in doing this as well, hopefully there will be more classes.

If you have basic algebra skills, know how to convert between various decimal notions and can do some rote memorization, I'd recommend getting a book and studying on your own. An electronics background is a plus.

If you take your test through the Laurel Amateur Radio Club Volunteer Examiners Coordinator it's free including those given by the Anne Arundel Radio Club. Although they won't give you a radio.
