As a former inmate of MD and now a proud FL resident...I approve of this message and would like to subscribe to it's news letter. That said, as long as they continue to offer them, I'll keep renewing my permit for reciprocity. My MD permit is up for renewal late this year...I'm curious to see how that will go.

Sweet I'm going there tomorrow! Damn I need to figure out which gun to bring. I need a floral pattern holster to go with my Tommy Bahama shirt. So much to do in such little time.

Hold on there partner. Remember to read the fine details. DeSantis still has to sign it (which he said he will), then you will have to wait for it to go effect, which would be July 1, 2023.

Is it wrong that I initially read that as "Making Florida Gator"?

    Good to see this!
Only if it is wrong that my mind jumped to:
We fired our cannon til the barrel melted down,
So we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round.
We filled his head with cannonballs and powdered his behind,
And when we touched the powder off, the gator lost his mind.

Glad to see we're both in our right minds.

Important question right behind the in-effect date is who does this apply to? Residents only? Or everyone who can legally own/purchase to include visitors from out of state?
