The coveted Winterseed Patch, congratulations. Appleseed is a great program for teaching the basics of marksmanship and some interesting history of April 19, 1775. My son and I have done 5 together and have had a blast every time. He volunteered us to step up and accept orange hats(instructor in training) and are working our way up to red hat(instructor).
April is coming up fast and I highly recommend signing up for a Patriot Day Appleseed(Red, White and Blue Rifleman Patch). In Maryland there is another patch available for "Clearing the Redcoats", the Immortal 400.

Way to go! I did Appleseed back in Nov at AGC with my two boys - great way to refresh (for me) and instill (the boys) basic lessons of marksmanship. Got my appleseed and immortal patch, oldest got his appleseed, and 2nd oldest was close - will take him and perhaps one of the two daughters for another go this year, and I hope to do a pistolseed as well. Absolutely a great program!
