I have 2 RIA's one full size and a compact, like them both a lot. After around 500 rds you should be nicely broken in. I really like the wood grips, but I did put crimson trace on the compact.

Brychan, how do you like the compact RIA?

When I got back into shooting this was the first one I got, I bought it used and it didn't look like it had been shot much, but it was nicely broken in. Even though I now have several handguns it is still my favorite.

The grip is only 1 .45 acp rd shorter, 7rds v 8rds in the full size. The officers size with 6 rds has the shortest grip. You should fondle one to see how it fits.

Ok what is a mortons foot?
