I know that I don't need to get the headspace checked, because headspace is the devil, mama said so.

I don't need to get anything gauged, because gauging is for those that don't believe in there (lack of) skill.

I'm just gonna slap all these random parts together and go out with my freedom seeds and scream 'MURICA at the top of my lungs and think that those guys on that forum are nuts, because the gun hasn't gone kaboom.

    AR's are self headspacing.

Dude... F you man. Get the hell off of this forum.

I come here to contribute and learn from a valuable community of enthusiasts, and some rat pecker like you comes a long to share your build and act like a jerk.

Your build looks like shit, by the way. You have to be semi-retarded to not know how to do what you did on a basic level. In that case, bravo.

    I appreciate your approval.

If The Barrel and bolt are in specs why would I ever need to?.

That is why I go to the range during the week.

How do you know they're "in spec"? Even the best makers let one slip now and then.

Headspace is not a place to assume. If it hasn't been checked, it needs to be.

Anderson is not a good manufacturer?
All parts were checked and cleared for proper usage.
The Barrel nut was torqued. 2x.
The castle nut as you can see was seated.
The gas port was installed and functions as it should.

    It's a wonderful firearm.

    So much to unpack here...

No, poverty pony is not a good manufacturer. Are you saying you torqued the barrel nut to twice spec? How was the gas port “installed”; are you saying you drilled it yourself?

So you can make sure your 5.56 barrel will run with 300 blackout

You do that too? I thought I was the only one that did that.

Want to be forum buddies? The only thing is you have to act like a self righteous prick half the time and the other half the time you have to act like a condescending douchebag. If you can do that, we can be friends, k?

Why do you have to be so argumentative? He clearly gauged the bolt and barrel. Any Navy Chief would know this....

    He just is.

He acts like he knows everything since he's nice enough to take the time to help people with builds. He taught me how to lap 4 uppers one time and you would have thought he was channeling Chad.
