One looks almost unissued, but for a small scatch on the slide north of the circle 11. The feed ramp looks new so I don't think it's been fired much. I don't think I'm going to shoot this one. The other has some dings, but I'm over the moon with it for $140. I'm thrilled with these!

First thing, your interweb skills suck! Posting a screenshot, really? :lol2: Even I can save a pic to my iphone and then upload it here. :D

As for the gun, Its a 1971, so you have a triangle hammer. Excellent choice for a CCW gun! I prefer the triangle hammer to the rounder one as the triangle hammer is easer to grip with my thumb and let down the hammer safely. The round one seems harder to grip. Nice score.

The 1971 has the more round hammer. Has it been replaced?

That and a Turk mauser are in my watch list.

Check Gander Mountain online. They carry the P64 from time to time, and I think one location has some. I got one in a local store last year that looks new. Only the mags show wear. I don't usually buy C&Rs from Gander (and they wouldn't take my C&R), but I saw that one and it was priced very nicely. When the guy went to ring it up, it came up about $100 higher than what the store tag said, but the manager let me have it at the price it was marked.

I have a '68 and '75 model year. I have noted that the trigger guard spring, plunger and trigger guard pin are very differnt between the 2. The '68 has a lighter spring and longer plunger. The pin is smaller in diameter. With the smaller diameter pin the trigger guard, matches that size. Does anyone know what year they changed the design to beef up the trigger guard retention system?
