I have heard some stuff as well , don't want to poop up Norton's positive message .
Norton is right about what is happening. But... I despair. I feel that we've awakened too late. Too late to work within the existing system, anyway.
I agree with Grimnar that this is a significant part of the long strategy that has been played against conservatives and it has been very successful. When the outlets of speech are controlled by your opposition, changing the false narrative that you're a facist racist is nearly impossible. When certain words are illegal, it's impossible to put forth a coherent rebuttal.
We are about to witness the "ultimate gerrymander." Before mid-terms, DC will attain statehood which will result in a permanent Democratic-Socialist majority. To add sauce to the goose, Puerto Rico (after rejecting statehood for decades) will finally petition and achieve statehood after destroying their own economy.
You just can forget a midterm election clawing back either house of Congress and thus forget any home of ever electing a conservative/constitutionalist president again. It's one-party rule and it's here to stay.
In 2016 and 2020, my wife and I encountered something incredible:
Many elderly first-time voters. Boomers who had never voted in an election, ever, who professed a lifelong ignorance of politics. When asked about the rationale behind their choice, most of these new voters had absolutely no real clue why they made their decisions. Responses ranged from "Because I think Trump is bad" to "Because Biden seems like a nice, honest man who cares about people."
I know it's fun to blame our problems on Gen Z, Millennials and minorities or people who "want free stuff" but I would opine that blindingly, infuriatingly ignorant voters who stepped into their civic duty for the very first time without performing a single moment's research into their choices are very much our problem right now. Our electorate is ignorant and foolish.
It's like watching people who've never hunted before suddenly running out into the woods wielding free shotguns, shooting indiscriminately.
Do you know what the worst part is? A lot of these elderly, first-time, never-before voters will literally not live long enough to suffer the consequences of their poor decisions.

We are definitely into some dark times and the forecast looks even darker for our future. I don't know what the answer is. I'm not sure this country can survive in its present form. I do believe that true patriots and Constitutional conservatives will have to step up to save not only our way of life, but our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Due to the coordinated attacks from BigTech & the Commies I haven't been able to get reliably on any other social media other platforms. I've tried Parler, Gab, etc... It really is only a matter of time before they attempt to shutdown this site and many others. It's hilarious to me that liberals for the past 4 years decried Trump as a Tyrant. The only true Tyrants are the leftists and big tech. It's been fun y'all. Keep fighting the good fight. Never give up your rights. Don't give them another inch!
