I believe these are the night vision capable versions because they have the battery cover tether?

Sorry, I was unclear. Definitely not visible in the picture. I took the batteries out and took a look. It's visible at the bottom of the well.

Just looked and that has been updated. There's a new bumper at the bottom of mine as well with new springs and "doughnuts". Looks like the whole battery compartment is brand new.

I was waiting till I had the funds in the bank. They sold out the day I posted. I should have just put it on a credit card. I had looked at it on my cell earlier in the day and they were still in stock. When I went to buy it when I was at home they were sold out. I was pretty disappointed.

Do I win the prize for ugliest Eotech from Gunny's?

Does seem to work fine but should I be concerned about the battery bumpers falling out of compartment? Couldn't find if that was normal.

You should be able to clean that off with some denatured alcohol or some acetone. Those rubber things fell out on mine too. Eotech is sending me a kit to upgrade them.

A few of these have popped up on eBay and gunbroker recently if anyone is still looking. Prices tended to be more reasonable on eBay, better selection too.

I had a cancelled purchase from lawguns, and ended up getting one from Gunny's. That was mid October, and I just had some credit card fraud November 2nd and 4th. Obviously I'm not sure if it was related, just wanted to post a notice to check your statements.
