I got the Herters in but have not used any yet.
Here is my Dad shooting it this past weekend on his first visit to the outdoor range with me.
First time he's shot since qualifying on the M1 back in the 60's for the Air Force.
He's shot this Enfield more than I have now.

My 13 year old son shot it too. He refused the whole time to use the Limbsaver Butt Pad. :)

ok, had a chance to try the 150g Herters .303 Brit ammo this morning.
Here is 50 yds. The shot in the upper left was first shot of the morning.

I shot it again at 100yds and it was about a 7" group.
Someone told me to sight it in at 50 about 1" high, but I think 50yds is same as 100yds cause at 100yds it was about 2-3" high. One or two clicks down on the rear sight should be good.

Mine is a 2 groove barrel.

I just got back from range with my 2 boys. I shot the remaining box of Herters and also the last 8 rounds from my box of Remington 174g ammo. The Herters was noticably more consistantly smaller groups. By like half. I had thought this was the case because when I started to shoot the Herters, it was much better, but thought it was my shooting getting better. But today, taking more care to shoot each shot, I noticed the difference substantially. I'm out of 303 brit but have the stuff to reload it so I'll be reloading it from here for a while since I have enough brass and the reloading consumables are the same as my Mosin.
