I've been helping develop a horse farm in Davidsonville and we need a professional to cover our improvements. This is/will be one of the best high end horse farms in the area and it should be marketed with decent photography. We've cleared 5 acres of the woods down to topsoil of anything smaller than 6" diameter, kept the Hollys, so a flight through there would be needed.

We are not sure of the possibilities so help/suggestions are also needed and I'm guessing those who have done this will know what will show off the place!
    Thanks

I don't know of any Drone photographers but I live on Governor's Bridge road and am interested in knowing where this is. For years we have seen horses leaving the area. It would be nice seeing them come back.

The farm I’m talking about is on Patuxent River Road but more on G Bridge Road. We should get together.
Oh, have you seen the bull that has been loose for about a month now?

OP: Are you looking at regularly documenting ongoing work, or just showing off final results? Is this to show your work, or more to show off the entire property (like for a real estate listing)?

Lots of variables that would dictate the level of engagement and how much of a pro you’d need.

I’m asking these questions publicly on the thread because others might find it interesting to learn about this stuff. But you can PM if you want to explore possibilities.

The only bull I see regularly lives on Governors Bridge on the other side of 424 and he eats grass out of my hand. ( I named him T bone as that I what I think his owners have planned for him)

Publicly, yes, yes, yes and yes to their various degrees. I’ll talk to him and get back to you, thanks.
And thanks for all you do here!

I am a licensed drone operator but it sounds like you want to have your property mapped. I would suggest that you contact the head of the Carroll County Community College Drone Program and ask for recommendations. They have a fairly advanced program with training in agriculture uses of drones and they do training in mapping applications.

I do drone photos and vids for few friends that are realtors and landscapers as a side job. Not interested in taking business from the pros that do this full time They deserve the business, I know what it was like to get my drone license. more interested in location of horse farm .

I can throw my hat in the ring as well if occam doesn't get you hooked up. I am always looking for new fun projects and clients. I am equipped for air and ground photography, can do mapping as well.
