so at 960 fps or so, a 124 gr. .355" projectile, probably going to be very similar to being shot at close range by a .38 special. And the bullet's going to be moving considerably faster if fired from a 16" barrel. Not sure how much faster and I'm too lazy to look it up tonight, but I'm guessing the velocity would be around the same as a 9mm round fired from a pistol at close range.

So I'll have to go with no, probably not a good idea.
