This a regulated firearm? Considering picking up a CX4 in the future.

I'll be searching to come up with more info.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

The only firearms that are regulated are the ones on this list, http://msp.maryland.gov/downloads/assault_weapons.pdf or copies of the firearms on the list.

Just because something has a folding stock or a pistol grip does not make it a copy of a regulated firearm.

I bought one of the Hi Point 995 TS carbines for my son and it's a blast. We've put over 500 rounds through it with zero problems. We put an inexpensive holo type sight on it and it works fine. Total in the carbine is less than $300, with the sight.

I had a CX4 up till a couple weeks ago and loved it. 17-20 round magazines and you could keep a soda can dancing at 80 yards all day long.
I put a cheap red dot on top of it and it worked quite well.

Not regulated. Although your dealer may still treat it as such. Remind them they are breaking the law...

I have a CX-4 in 9mm. I like everything about it except the trigger feel, which is not great. I bought it thinking I was going to thread it for a suppressor, but decided not to go that route because of 1) 922r issues with barrel threading and U.S. parts count, a 2) I like my 9mm AR better now.

So now it's sort of an orphan gun. No plans, no future... Just sits in the safe now. Sometimes my wife shoots it, but that's about it.
