You guys are severely tempting me to whine at my transferring FFL about my status again. Or maybe I'll dig out the copy of the form 4 and call the BATFE myself.

Hmm.....mine were mailed/check cashed sooner than that. Do you know when you went pending?

    (2 are 29", one is 30.5")

I sent my first one in Nov 2nd, still haven't gotten it back, and I'm expecting it to be denied because it's not 29" for 7.5" barrel. But I have already gotten back a paper submission for a suppressor from Jan 3rd. Time to call and get an update I suppose.

    Updating from 5minutes ago.

Called and was forwarded to a processor as my current form 1 is in the 'problem file pile' (promising right?). I was not forwarded to inspector Cooke but a different processor. Hope to hear back from him on what is going on, I already ordered a longer barrel for it which should get me the new length required and hope they allow for an 'expedited' resubmittal.

Had a surprise in the mailbox today from ATF. An approved Form 4 with tax stamp. Apparently my status has been upgraded and they are now mailing them directly to me, instead of the dealer. :D

Well, this was quite a surprise! Just got the stamp for my SBR that I efiled on 6/27/14. What's that, 35 day turnaround?!

The examiner was Cook. He also approved my 1st stamp, an SBS submission in Feb 2014. That one took one day over 4 months.
