Authorities in Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties have foiled what they believe would have been a mass shooting in the style of the one that killed 12 people in a Denver-area movie theater, police sources tell ABC 7 News.

We'll have to see what turns out. I think for the time being every idiot who gets arrested for saying something stupid and owns a gun is going to be painted by the media as a dangerous "copycat" stopped in his tracks. In any case it plays into the fear-mongering hands of the gun grabbers.

I believe this is the press overreacting! Yes, the guy might be pissed off and said some dumb things, but calling him a "Mass Shooter" is just a far reach.

Will be interesting in seeing what firearms they are classifying as an arsenal.

Just because he made a threat against his employers (not smart-maybe emotional in the moment), and they found multiple firearms in his house-thev've concluded a plot to mass murder has been foiled? Seems a stretch..I hope there's more meat to this story.

I've seen as few as 3 guns and 100 rounds of ammo described as an "arsenal" or a "stockpile".
Everyone is guilty until proven innocent these days.
