    Hey all,

Im getting back into archery after about an 18 year hiatus, and Im wondering if my arrows are too light.

I currently have a Diamond Black Ice set to 26" Draw@60lbs, I havent shot it yet, but the first arrows I bought were 250 grain Carbon Express.

Are 250 grain arrows too light for this setup?

Orrrrrr....Is this something not even worth worrying about?

It's been a while for me as well. It used to be the AMO specs were 5 grains of arrow weight(including the point) for each pound of peak draw weight for the minimum arrow weight. IBO was 4 gr/lb.

    Do these still apply?

I weigh all my arrows on a small grain scale. I'm shooting Gold Tip 5575's
at 29.5". They weigh in at 376 gr. with 2" blazers and 100gr broadheads.
    At 65lbs of pull.
