I agree. If you can find USGI somewhere out in free America, that's the way to go. Not a one of my USGI mags has ever failed me. I was lucky... I picked up a dozen of them 20 years ago at Knob Creek for a few bucks each still in the wax wrap.

I got a couple of 10 rounders from Numrich, but KeepOnShooting is probably a better value. If you can't find USGI, the KCI mags from Korea are suppose to be good (out of state options for 15 rounders).

I got some KCI 15's from 44Mag that are OK. I am in Florida at this time.

How are people figuring out what kind of carbine they're receiving from the pending order on their cmp orders page? Mine was just posted as pending and all I see is that it's a service grade which was the only one I asked for.

Once it ships they will update your order with the shipping number and the serial number. You can tell from the serial number.
