Rifles no. I could have sworn the Saiga was no go but the VZ-58, that should be GTG.
What about the CZ VZ 58? Is that now illegal to purchase in MD?
I know a bunch of dealers treat them as unregulated because they are not a rifle. MSP confirmed this at some point, but I don't have a copy of it.
So it's treated as cash & carry?
My understanding is that ATF protocol for measuring a rifle with a folding stock stock is to measure with the stock fully extended.
What about the "gift" clause for regulated firearms? Can a family member from a 2A friendly state (NC or Florida, specifically) buy an AK or an AR 15 and give it to me as a gift?
For what its worth, I emailed Centerfire Systems and they said they would not ship the vz2008 to Maryland. I responded to their response and asked why. I have not heard back. This was on Thursday.Classic has vz2008s folders for $400. No idea if they'll ship to MD. Good deal, even for a century build.
I drove by there last week, and all I saw was someone giving out Obamaphones.
Certain people's brains will spontaneously hemorrhage when they find out they didn't ban such a scary gun
Is it true that you can be arrested for firing an AR-15 pistol with the buffer against your shoulder, even if there is no stock attached?
If you die, you can leave it to your heir.
So- long shot here, because I couldn't find a better post to address this question, and didn't think it needed it's own thread...
Can a Pre-10/1/13 MD registered AK-47, be sold or "gifted" to another MD resident, today (after 10/1/13)?
Obviously they could sell it to a resident of another state, but could a MD registered AK be sold to another MD resident?
