I'm not exactly sure if my distributor carries that exact pattern. But yes digital on the whole frame and slide is no problem. Just keep in mind that the picture is of a duracoat paint job. Not a hydrographed finish.Could you do something like this?
When you say '70's do you mean Vietnam green tiger.Cool, I was just looking at this last week on a manufacturers site. Wasnt sure how hard it would be to find someplace fairly local t get it done. If the price is right, I was thinking of doing a 10-22 in 1970's tiger stripe...
Yes you can do scopes. However, it will only be with a signed waiver. No shop will dip scopes without it. Because if they leak they are done and yes even the best scopes fail. One decorator we know told us that he dipped a 2000$ leupold once and it fogged before he got it out of the tank. The manufacture will usually make it right. If the scope was waterproof, which most are.I couldnt tell for sure with the manufacturers site, but I think it looked like you cant do scopes wit this stuff?
Hotwheels? I hope your talking about your actual car and not toys. This process is not cheap.
The finish is as good as the clear coat. The clear i use is for firearms specifically. It is dead flat with hardener. Very durable. Just remember that all finishes can be scratched.
This is not my work. However we can get this pattern and i am just taken with it. I can't wait to do a few in this reaper pattern.
I have seen these guys work and it really looks good they are in chambersburg PA
Im holding out for you Gunrunner! You plan on having priduction up sometime in the first two quarters of 2011?
Thanks
Andy
I like them. I'm guessing that the dip involves floating the finish on top of the water and passing the piece through like the inside cover pages of fancy books? Got any pics of the actual process? The dipping would probably preclude me from putting this finish on my car.
Oh, i certainly will. I just don't want to give anyone a preconceived idea and then possibly change it on them when we open up. I like to be accurate in my pricing. When you have rough prices...it would be good to post em up
