Iam retired out of the military. I consult and train for a government contractor. I'm not an ar16 expert maybe a m4,249,and 240 expert. That info came from the Cw4 next to me regarding ar15s
I didn't dump go back and read from the beginning I gave other outlets for training.
colt because it is duty grade. windham is hobby stuff.
Second on the Stag, great overall rifle. I have a RR Arms upper, and the thing is well built and is a tack driver when "I" am on.....
WTF does that even mean?
Let's all be nice. We all have our opinions. No need to make enemies over hypotheticals. Every time I see one of these "best AR brand" threads I just know it's going to devolve into a shit show. There's no need for it.
3rd on the stag. Price falls between the Colt and windham. Very high quality.
I like Stags. My opinion, and it's just my opinion, is if you don't want to spring for a Colt then get a Stag.
Not directed at any one person in particular, but let's all be nice. We all have our opinions. No need to make enemies over hypotheticals. Every time I see one of these "best AR brand" threads I just know it's going to devolve into a shit show. There's no need for it.
And it wasn't even really a best AR thread. Just a choice between A and B.
Come on now. You know every time theres an "A or B" thread on mds, the inevitable result is a contentious debate over C through Z.
