For chain restaurants, Red Robin has a decent selection.

But for my all time favorite grab and go burger, head to a Sonic! It's not just the burger, it's the fun of eating at an old style drive in. Ranks up there with 5 Guys for me.

And if you ever make it down south, you MUST have Whataburger. This isn't an option, it is a requirement.

Alonso's on Cold Spring Lane in Roland Park. Hands down Baltimores Best.

Alonso's is great, they have a good beer selection as well. Downtown Baltimore go to Alewife on Eutaw, smoke burger is excellent and they also have a great bear selection.

Everywhere else its just the same crap on a different plate...

Sunshine burger in Sunshine, MD. It's the gas station on the corner. Go to the back of the store. They have a grill that has somehow been missed by the health inspector for over 40 years. It is well seasoned. Don't dress up. It's a local secret.

I used to get breakfast in there almost every morning about 20 yrs ago.

Callahan's on Rosemont by Ft. Detrick in Frederick has good burgers.

Oh...I completely forgot...Hamilton Tavern on Harford Rd. You will not be disappointed. Also, Mutiny Pirate Bar in Glen Burnie. Best restaurant in North County IMHO.

+1 for Hamilton Tavern. My favorite by a huge margin. The beef comes from Roseda Farms in Monkton. Soooo good...
