I ordered everything but the sling for my S4 last night. I’m going to try to repurpose an otherwise disappointing Warrior Poet Society two point on it.

    I’ve got the following coming:

    Benelli Extractor and Extractor Spring

Mesa Tactical Urbino Stock (went with the limbsaver version because why the hell not)

DMW mag tube, extended safety (dunno if that will fit), and speed bar

    NDZ performance follower

    PSA 25mm ACSS optic

    TTI follower and charging handle.

    Extra shells

Choate shell holder. Adapted to the S4

Thanks, I found the thread on arfcom that was referenced here earlier and it appears that Battlehawk is legit, at least on another shotgun.

I called a local shop and their price wasn't even competitive with what I'm seeing online, I guess because they'd have to order it he said? In any case, I may put an order in too.

Got my shipping notice from Battlehawk, my SDS S4 or my gold plated AR Mag should be at the FFL on Thursday. I have to say I’m impressed with Battlehawk so far. They move quickly!

Well I think that was the final convincing I needed. Now to find an FFL that moves quickly and is easy to deal with. If only it weren’t such a pain in the ass, I’d have a lot more guns.

I’ll post pics of what I get next time South Carroll Sporting Goods is open (after Thurs) if you want to wait for pics.

Thanks, I think I may just go ahead and order. Maybe I’ll get two because I see the prices of these going up. $375 shipped seems like a steal.

Last time I bought a cheaper gun (H&R slughunter), they stopped making them and they are impossible to find now.

Thats what i did, ordered two of them. Make sure you can inspect both of them first.

I think I saw when I ordered that Battlehawk has an “all sales final”, so any issues would need to be handled by SDS. Honestly if there are any problems it will meet the chop saw and I’ll get an actual Benelli.

I saw a few 3D printable models like this, I was curious if they fit. I could always design or modify as well. Might be a good candidate to venture into ABS or ASA, though I’m sure PETG would work well.
I printed one. They work fine in my experience. Definitely think ABS or PETG is the way to go.

The shell holders work well for the quick combat load

    And I don’t have a 3-d printer. Yet. Lol
