Hadn't seen the collars before but I have one of the KAK pistol tubes and heated up a piece of kydex and formed it around to accomplish the same thing. Also tried para-cord wrap which worked for a while but eventually bunched up a bit (doesn't take much) and interfered with the charge handle.

I wonder if a bit of PVC tube would work as well.

They ship separate. If you gave them an email addr when you ordered you should have gotten two different ship emails. My bag showed up a few days before I even got the brace shipment email. Brace finally came in today I ordered a couple days before this thread was posted (I got the email direct from Sig but didn't think to post it here.)
