Back in Howard County

Hey Guys/Gals,

Apparently I had already made an account here, which I forgot about for a while. Figured I'd (re)introduce myself.

I recently separated from the Marine Corps(Hon Discharge) after just under six years. The last three I spent on Marine Security Guard duty working in Germany, Kuwait, and the rest of the world this last year. As of now, I'm actively searching for employment, which I must admit has been more challenging than anticipated. With having my bachelors and mil experience, all these employers believe I'll be saying "goodbye" within a year, because that's what other veterans have done they say. Anyway!

I have a passion for firearms, and have been fortunate to receive a lot of training these past three years. It's a little sad to be coming back to MD with it's current state of laws. Hopefully things will get better as time goes on.

Well, I'll keep it short. Just wanted to say hello, again. Hope everyone is doing well!

What type of work are you looking for?

At this point, I'm really looking for something that will provide me some income. I'm most qualified for security work(physical, industrial, assessments). During my four years of college I did landscaping and snow removal while at school and did framing during summer/winter breaks. I've also worked in retail during high school.

Open to suggestions/advice. I do have my resume out on all the job boards, have been looking on craigslist, etc.

You are welcome to come out and shoot with us at any Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club event. We are having a 3-gun shoot at the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore Sunday, November 13th at the 200 yard range from 0900 - 1430 hours. We have 3-gun shoots, steel plate rifle and pistol shoots, bust fest trap shoots and Tuesday Night Steel Shoots (from April - October).

That sounds great! I won't be able to make it tomorrow, but I will be on the lookout for future dates. I really enjoy shooting, especially when there is some friendly competition involved.
