Ok, I just finished building my first lower in preparation for my PSA Upper. Took my time and all went well but my question is can you not put the safety on when the hammer is down? If I have it cocked I can place it in Safe and you can not pull the trigger, move it to fire and pull the trigger, holding the hammer so it does not not slam the receiver and it will fire. But after firing I can not put it on safe.

Thanks for the replies. I will have it looked over before I make my first range trip with it. Also when the trigger is pulled there is not much room remaining between the trigger and the back of the housing, it is not contacting the receiver at all its just close, like 1/8" or so close, is this also normal? I did use an ALG ACT trigger and it feels pretty nice so far. I have a pic in my gallery of the Lower and will also put one up under the AR pic thread.
