Application Progress Tracking Thread

I am trying to be good and only checking my email a bunch. Which I do anyway. I am logging in to check in the morning and end of my work day. Granted I only JUST hit submit last Friday.

I’ll probably crack by next week and check every hour.

Tracking update now that we have 50 approval data points. I rearranged the data a bit. The data is sorted by approval date and then submission date. For approvals starting around 7/28 and on, there seems to a pretty solid day-for-day rolling correlation between accepted date and approval date with ~19-21 days between them.

Did you mean 6/28? Or 7/8? 7/28 was 5 days ago.

Nope - 7/28. The correlation between acceptance and approval really crystalized sometime last week. Assuming the MSP workflow got more efficient around that time. It was less predictable before last week.

I submitted the complete application on 7/7/22
I received the auto generated "Your Application Has Been Submitted For Review" email on 7/7/22
I received the application accepted notification 1:17 PM 7/12/22
NICS number assigned 7/26/22

Didn't happen******************************************************************
I received the application has been assigned to an investigator ...............
My interview was held .............
My wife was contacted .............
1st Reference contacted ..............
2nd Reference contacted ..............
3rd Reference contacted ..............

Today is exactly 14 days mine got accepted and still no NICS number yet. Back to smashing the refresh button every hour

Today is my 14-day mark, since acceptance, also and I just got a NICS #!

Submitted: 7/23
Accepted: 8/2

I am thinking those that had a NICS on 7/26 are getting approved today.
NICS dated 7/27 should be getting approved tomorrow.

It will be interesting to see if the time stretch out more with the more applications submitted. My wife daughter and son-in-law have a class schedule October 8-9 so I’m definitely curious to see how long it will take them to get approved

Nice! I’m still waiting. I think I’m going to chase parked cars and play in traffic to pass the time. I’m already pissed at the Nationals for trading Soto what’s one more disappointment today going to hurt? Lol
