If you go to the Print Application button under the HGP tab and look in the top left corner it will have the NICS number and the date just to the right is the NICS date.No idea, never got any sort of notification

Looks like you didn't catch mine in your chart. I suspect the weekend has a lot to do with the variance in the time they take. Though i am not updating your chart. That's a lot of work you have put in. Thank you.
This makes me feel better, I submitted 7/23 and still not “accepted”. I’ll relax much more once that milestone is reached.Mrs. Occam just got the first status update email today on her 48xxx series application:
Submitted 7/21
Accepted 8/1
I'm only adding data to the file once it has an approval date. Not intended to be a real-time status of everyone who has reported pre-approval data without the final data point. It's actually not that much work this way, but would be if I tried to keep up with realtime input of everything before approval.Looks like you didn't catch mine in your chart. Applied: 7/2/22 (Saturday)
Accepted: 7/12/22 (Tuesday)
NICS: 7/27/22 (Wednesday)
It still feels pretty cool to be anxious about something that I never expected to have to be anxious about in my lifetime. I can live with it.Only just a couple of data points, but three of us on here who submitted on 7/22, got our "accepted" emails today. Won't be surprised if you get your's tomorrow, if not by the end of the week. And also its funny, how each step we become relaxed about completing the step, but that means something new to be "anxious" about, until if/when we finally get our permits.
14 days to nics seems to be common so hopefully Thursday for that.I’m a 7/21 Accepted also. I figure the soonest we’ll hear something is this Sat.
Thanks! Says 7/14 next to the NICS numberGo to the MDSP LD portal and proceed to your HGP application (On the dashboard). Print your application and the NICS date will be at the top left beside the NICS number.
Sounds good to me. I hope you’re right.14 days to nics seems to be common so hopefully Thursday for that.
Permit in hand always. You can be charged if it isn't with you in MD at least. If the state you're going to is constitutional carry nothing to worry about then. Most likely I'm going to be out of town (in a reciprocity state) when I'm finally approved. Do I need to have the actual card in hand to legally carry or should a print out of the approved paperwork be sufficient?
I figured, don't want to press my luck. I've waited 30 years, what's a few more weeks.Permit in hand always. You can be charged if it isn't with you in MD at least.
Today is exactly 14 days mine got accepted and still no NICS number yet. Back to smashing the refresh button every hour14 days to nics seems to be common so hopefully Thursday for that.
Don't do it! It's like watching cold water that never boils, ask me how I know.Today is exactly 14 days mine got accepted and still no NICS number yet. Back to smashing the refresh button every hour
