I don't think he was a "newb" at all. Too much animosity. You aren't born with a chip on your shoulder. You develop it.

Up until 10/31 it said NICS 10/25
On the 31st it switched to 10/30 with same NICS number

Apologies if this has been asked and answered.
9/2 application accepted, still no NICS update. Was wondering if MD prioritizes resident applications over non-resident applications?

From the tracking thread, it doesn't seem there has been bias or priority on resident or non resident, from the sample size I have followed at least. I am non resident (NC) and it took roughly 55 days from acceptance to NICS, 8 additional days to approval, for total of 63 days, right in line with the mean spread of others on the forum.

    Hope that helps.

There is no such thing as a non resident permit.

    Only wear and carry

Residence is not a factor IMO

Your address is not printed on your permit for a reason I assume

The most recent data set from mhasel only shows one person with a 9/2 acceptance has received a NICS so you are just coming into the window for NICS bieng assigned. Patience Grasshopper.

My NICS date changed from 10/25 to 10/30. Anyone know why this would happen?
Could have been a hold in NICS

I know for many years buying longarms I got a Hold/delay EVERY time for some reason... so it may have taken them time to circle back to you and you might have been cleared and they updated the info
