The Baltimore Sun has reported that Beretta has hired a lobbyist and is working with the NSSF. So, they're on it.
But, to be fair, Beretta's corporate interests are not always going to line up 100% with ours. They'll be first and foremost looking for a manufacturing exemption. I don't know whether an Italian company is going to take a huge hit by moving manufacturing facilities in the name of the 2A. *shrugs*
