Anybody ever "clean" their 22LR ammo? (Remi Golden Bullets)

They didnt used to do that- but they used to be really shitty

Compared to federal they are still pretty shitty.

That said I feel like it's some kind of epoxy or somthing, plating does not come off like that

Wash with cold water first. Don't want the pores to open up. Make sure they are clean before you use hot.
