Any real change in sight for MD CFP

Just looking for a few educated opinions.

Does anyone out there think there is a realistic chance that MD will ever change its laws and ridiculous regulations on getting a CFP and become more like some of our neighboring states and a majority of the country?

Other states, once thought to be impossible, have done it.

With enough public pressure and/or a court intervention, why not? Maryland likes to think it's unique, but... .

I love the 5000 different acronyms used to describe the same thing. CCW, CFP, CHL, CWP, CCP, LTC, CCDW, etc.

Those will vary based on the actual name of the permit in the particular state law.

As for what will happen in MD??

I think we'll see an incremental change... Some of it is already happening, IMO.

As for the BIG switch?? I think it will happen, but--again IMO--most will be surprised at how it happens.

I'm not going to get into my thoughts on it in open forum, though.
