I went to the first show in Annapolis in a number of years and there were hardly any guns at all. Hopefully it has improved. Years ago Frank of Bay Country Guns in Crownsville (now defunct) sponsored this event and at that time it was a pretty decent show...so it definitely has potential.

    I bought my first pistol from him a P89 .45 I believe.

Is there a match at the fairgrounds?

Will this show have any lowers for sale?

Just got back a little bit ago. Wasn't looking specifically for lowers, but lots of TAC and AR stuff. AKs galore, too. The ammo guy was well stocked, and prices seemed more 'normal'.

A number of new dealers there too... Including Precision!

Still a lot of the antique stuff, knives and meat, but overall I'm calling it a lot better than recent Annapolis shows.

I agree, it was a better show than the last one I attended. Plenty of modern rifles and pistols and people were filling out paperwork.

Some people were scalping big time though. One guy was selling the 50 round boxes of Federal 510 that you get for $2 something at Walmart for $10.00! :lol2:

Not too impressed with the show, selection was limited and prices, especially ammo were jacked up (even for today's environment). Saw one vendor with 80% lowers, but I could easily get them for less than his $160 ea. Spoiled by the Gettysburg show the other weekend...guess I check out the Howard County show next weekend.

I was surprised at how crowded the Anp Armory was after the poor shows of the past. The line before opening stretched all the way down the parking lot. The show before had about 10 people in line.

Given that Howard County is the last local show before 10/1, I would bet that it is going to be packed. ;)

Do you know what kind he was selling... were they ones he made or ones from a company?
