Ammo with cutting blade

Ok, so a coworker told me that at one time he had some hollow point ammo that actually had a blade inside of it. Is he mistaken or is there/was there such a thing? What would be the purpose of this?

Black Talons opened into sharp star points that freaked out the libs... I think they were also heat seeking, and could beam themselves directly from the box into an unloaded gun...

Possibly talking about that "extreme shock" ammo. It does have a bullet that looks like a cookie cutter of some sort. Nasty looking stuff.

Ive got a box of starfire rounds, seem to be solid copper with what looks like blades inside....@ work so cant get a pic up and never seen one expanded but they look like they could form blades or sharp petals when they do....AQ Aa

I think the way they worked was you would shoot into the Jet, causing it to crash into the tracks derailing the oncoming train..

plus they came pre-loaded into 1000 round "clips"

I never tried that!

I'll bet it takes a lot of practice to get the timing right.

he was probably talking about black talons. liberals didn't like them because they could tear through a surgeons glove and give him a blood transmitted disease. also, shortly after they came out, a man killed a bunch of dudes with it. obviously the ammos fault
