A couple of my cousins had a successful gator hunt in the Dog River, Mobile Alabama.

My Aunt used to cut the tail in 1/2" or 3/4" slices and pan fry it. The rest she would cut up and make gumbo. Those are the only ways I've ever eaten it. And it was good! They're best when about 5'-6'. Not sure how this mnster would taste?Very cool!
So where are the good cuts of meat on a gator? I am assuming the tail and rear legs. Is there a tenderloin in the torso?
I know they used a bang stick but not sure what caliber it was? What do they pop them with, 22 magnum?
That is impressive!
Then start applying.Way cool. I would like to do that one day.
