    I am not understanding. I thought the NICS check and 4473 were normally done when you picked up the gun, not when you started the 77r or filed the 77r with MSP.
    No- Prior to the investigation. You pick up your purchase after both checks are "Not Disapproved."

    It’s always funny to purchase a new gun and have a cooling off period and at the same time have more guns at home than some FFLs have in stock. “I’m so upset I’m going to murder someone but I need something new to mark the occasion.”
    Or when you are starting paperwork (and wait) on an only mildly killy .22 while carrying a loaded full power lung-blower-outer 9mm in your pants.
