    Nite Hunter Tactical. These are well-tested, tough as nails, and assembled in the USA (Texas). Three position switch, lights come complete with regular and corded tailcap switches and rail mount. Light pictured is 260 lumens but they now have a 500 lumen also that's not much more. Rechargeable with an 18650 battery. Warranty is lifetime on the light and ten years on the battery. They stock them at MD Quartermaster, Freestate, and Gun Connection too.

    If you are looking to mount to an AR platform you can try the Surefire M500A. They run 500 new but I happen to know where to get a used one (Carbine Length) for half of that and its in very good condition. I know I am late getting in on this so I am not sure if you have found a resolution to you lighting problem.

    You're a lucky guy. It's BEAUTIFUL up there. Was there last summer. What part of the Rockies? (Like what's the nearest city)
