Wilson Combat makes one without the sling mount. I have one with the sling mount and it is high quality. Worth every penny.

Wilson does, Vang Comp does. Nordic as well. A few others too.

I have a Remington extension. Some guys don't like them because of the bracket. I just figure more support.

I have the Remington and a Tac Star. Both work and attach just fine. The ONLY suggestion I would make is make sure it's metal. There are some plastic ones out there, and while they may function fine, I don't think they have the durability of a metal one.

Also, I'd suggest gettting one that is about .5" longer than the barrel when installed. The end of the mag tube makes a nice muzzle protector.

Oh, and don't forget to grind down the dimples in your factory tube.

    ^^^^This.

    Wilson's is very good.
    Choate's is very good.

I prefer the Remington extension, because I want that extra support, incase I 'bang' the barrel/extension against something.
I don't want the magazine tube, spring and rounds bouncing off the floor!

FWIW, those with TacStar extensions. . . . those tubes are great IF they work for you. They are the thinnest walled extensions on the market.
    Good luck with them.
