Closer? Yes. Cheaper? No.

You can try the Bladen St Garage. I usually have better luck at Noah Hillman (150 Gorman Street).

Both don't charge after 6pm, so if you get there now it won't cost you much for 2 hours.

After 4PM, the lot across Calvert Street from Arundel Center is $2 flat rate... a 5min walk to the State House
