I'm thinking of building a 300 Blackout then going through the hoops to get a suppressor for it to hopefully shoot subsonic quietly.

I'll gratefully take your advise on pro/cons and equipment buys.

    Thanks in advance.

I use an AAC SDN6 suppressor on my 2 300 BLK rifles

    one is a DDVM4 V5 16" barrel and an Engage M4 SBR with a 10.5 inch barrel

    works great on both guns

Engage in Rockville can hook you up with everything you need.

Do it! +1 on the AAC SDN6 Get the 51t flash suppressor for all your rifles up to .308 and now everything can be quiet! Just get one of those Caldwell brass catchers. you can either reload or sell the brass for the 300.

I have an AAC 10.5 inch upper with a 7.62 SDN-6 That I purchased from Engage Armament. You can't go wrong with that suppressor. I will say that the AAC upper is over priced but if you have a little money to burn why not.

Consensus will be to sbr with 10.5" barrel. I have the Silencerco Saker 7.62 and love it. If you are looking to not spend that much on a suppressor my next option would be the Specwar 7.62. It is the quietest on the market, also the heaviest, but the price is right on it imo.
The turn off for the acc suppressors for me is they have a tuning fork sound from the flash hider and acc is owned by freedom group.
If you are building the upper go with an adjustable gas block and you can really quiet it down even more.

    I have a .30cal YHM Titanium I run on my .300blk and 5.56 rifles.

It's my first one and it came highly recommended by a member here but I don't have anything to compare it with. But, I do like it! It's quiet enough with .300 subs that I don't need hearing protection.

Take a look at the Gemtech 9mm Multimount. It was my first supressor and I used it for 9mm and .22lr. It is rated full auto for .22, 9mm and 5.7. Also rated for subsonic 300 Black.

It gives you a lot of options if you are only going to have one can. They are also cheaper and lighter than .30 cans.
