.22LR AR Pistol build... another option for an endplate?

I did the "take-down pin mod" on mine to alleviate this problem.

You'll like the Ace, it works well..

I use the takedown mod above in conjunction with a homemade plug (no need for the plate) on a different build.

Spikes also makes a 22lr pistol plug.

Since you already ordered the ACE, I suggest getting a Noveske QD Endplate if you want to have a QD sling point.

I was just going to use an ASAP plate I have laying around and get a different sling but I like the way you're thinking Seth!

Always happy to help ! I have a Noveske QD endplate on my SBR and love it. Its simple, out of the way, and relatively cheap. I use it in conjuction with an MS3 QD sling and RSA.

Not a fan of the ASAP plate. Too much rattle for my taste.

Nothing spectacular but it works well for holding the buffer detent/spring and rear takedown detent/spring in place.

Now that I look at the picture, I totally forgot to put the ASAP plate on the back...
