I used to be a professional firefighter, dragging hoses into burning buildings and houses, crawling thru smoke searching for scared people hiding from flames. Should I qualify? How about if I were a desk jockey, wearing a badge but never seeing action?
    Why you asking me?
I dont validate permitting schemes I just have to live with them, disregard them or oppose them entirely.
But if you were asking me directly without being vague or ambiguous I would say yeah why not?
But you could have been a cop too but chose another path just as I did. It just so happens, there are those who felt strongly enough to attempt some law-craft and it doesn't include professional firefighters.
Maybe the unions are behind it who knows, It surely aint you or me.
