    Spend the big money and get an original from the 60's or a series 70. You will not be disappointed. I fired the gun with one mag right after I bought it in 2005. It has been parked ever since just looking good as can be.:thumbsup:

    The firing pin design. You have to be careful with them though as they are more dangerous. On a series 80 the beavertail has to be squeezed into the handle before the gun will fire. On a series 70 that is not the case so keep the fingers off the trigger unless ready for action. Hope that helps.:thumbsup: Oh and they are easier from what I hear for gunsmiths to do trigger jobs to.
