    Mom's Peacemaker....

Dad bought this for Mom when we lived in Florida - 1975, I think. I recall that it cost about $125 from a store that my Dad did quite a bit of business with. We brought it to the last Fall Shoot and was my Daughter's favorite gun to shoot that day. It's sporting the .22LR cylinder here. It also comes with a .22 Magnum cylinder.

That sure is purty. I had one of the New Frontiers which was the same thing with adjustable sights. For some reason, I sold it back in the mid 80's to buy some other gun. Bad mistake. :sad20:

How do you like the .22 revolver? I hear that a lot of 22 rimfire revolvers have problems with the case expanding and causing problems...

Wow. That's a beauty. Don't ever sell it.

Im envious, you just cant buy guns like that anymore. Even a "new one" will have a bunch of junk in it. Its classic, well cared for and should last another 100 years with the 25 year tune-up.

Yeah - it is a sweeet pistol. Totally original - Mom still has the box it came in from the factory. It's probably had less than 1k rds though it, although my Son and I are doing our best to add to the tally every time we go to the range.

As far as selling it, I can't. It's my Mom's gun and she'd kick my azz for even thinking about it in passing.... :lol2:

Hoping to get to the range this weekend and test her out, but she needs a new grip bad, I hate the stock plastic grips :sad20:
