Your going to love the mcree. I've only snapped in behind one at a local shop down here and its sweet. My 300wsm will get one when I have more opportunities to shoot beyond 400 yards.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm really looking forward to getting off work today. My McRee and a new Pelican 1750 should be waiting for me when I get home. :)

I was looking at my crown yesterday and noticed a small bur... lame! I didnt really inspect the crown when I bought the rifle. Wouldnt have stopped me from buying it anyway - as it is a minor issue. The thing still shoots really well. I may have a GS recrown it, may not. I may just shoot out the barrel and replace it later. Who knows.

Sinces its shooting good right now I wouldnt touch it unless your going to set up a brake or a mount or something. If not run that thing as is in the Mcree and have a blast.

Installation was a breeze and it's a really nice piece. Hope to get to the range soon.

Sorry for the cell phone shot, but I didn't want to dig out the dslr.

Arrived in one piece from Buds last week. I've had time to clean, inspect, and function test, but that's about it.

I'm eager to get this built, but since ammo is in short supply I need to keep telling myself that I intended this to be a longer build.

    Patience grass hopper.

Considering this was over a year ago do you remember how much you paid for the rifle?
