Picked up an Arsenal from Dan in the spring.Fun gun to shoot, like no recoil at all!Picked up some Bulgy mags and East German orange mags from a York show this summer.Expect to spend at least $10 more on 74 mags then 47 mags.47 mags will be everywhere, but you'll have to search for the 74's.

Im down with either one, maybe you can show me how to shoot a pistol:D, Im not very good with one, mainly cause i dont get the practice since we mostly shoot rifles. For some reason I thought these high dollar Sig 229 and HK Usp i own would automatically hit the bullseye :lol2:

EDIT... since i see Mauiwowie is in here .. That Sig you sold me must be defective, it refuses to hit the bullseye. :D

    (i still like it though)

what are you looking for Maui? ill keep a eye out as i walk.

    I don't know what I'm looking for :lol2:

I want a bolt action something that me and my wife can shoot
I want a scope on it (not a must)
I want it not to break the bank
I'd like to have the option of shooting small animals with it if needed

    Does this help?

Sounds like a .22 to me, it meets all those needs and are very fun. it wont hurt the wife, it wont hurt the pocket and it will take out some small animals. Is a .22 doable? or you want something with a little more punch? You can get bigger but to stay cheap you should stay around C&R, then the problem becomes can the wifes shoulder handle it. But with a 8mm or 762x54, there aint gonna be much left of Mr. squirrel :lol2:

My wife was shooting the AR15 .223 without problem she loved the recoil...
Will a .223 bolt have more recoil?

I havent shot one in it but I would venture to say it would be about the same, but then you add a few hundred over a price of a cheap .22.

Im a cheap skate, alot of my rifles were bought for under 175.00 and are tons of fun to shoot.

whats not breaking the bank? 500ish and under?
