Did not realize it was my anniversary but today was a fun day:
1) Got some ammo at Dick's
2) Picked up another P228 from Mr. Sykes and the DC police.
Only took 2 hours today with the new improved system.
Plus you now get a neat Firearms Registration Certificate photo id card that has "NOT A LICENSE TO CARRY A FIREARM" on it.
I have 3 p228s for now -- 1 a Swiss trade-in the other 2 W. German triple serials.
Got the Swiss from Engage Armament back in June 2012 and everyone there was great to deal with for my 1st pistol purchase
Haven't had the opportunity to handle firearms in many years except for what an uncle taught me for a little bit a long time ago.
My brother picked up competitive shooting down in FL and got me back into shooting.
Took a great class with him down in FL and mostly shoot now at the NRA range or On Target though MSAR looks like a nice place.
