OP said at some point that he had a retired Navy Chief helping him, and he should have all the AR knowledge needed. I figured being an AR armorer was probably part of the training.

Ok, of the Navy Chiefs I know... The building of AR-15s is a hobby, Chiefs have different jobs in the Navy and what not. :innocent0
