So I just picked up a STI 2011 frame kit from my favorite gunshop. I've always wanted a 2011, and said F it and took the leap. The only description I have for it is its a 5", ramped, with a wide dust cover. When I searched online, it looks like its one of these...
So i've seen at least 2 threads on this, but saw different answers, so i'm hoping a couple years has gotten some clarification on this....
I want to build an sbr in md. If it is greater than 29", does it have to be hbar or can it be any barrel profile?
thanks
So with all the fun going on recently, its time for me to get off my ass and put in the paperwork on one of my lowers to sbr it.
I know generally how it works. A form 3 (i think?) has to be filled out, stamp paid for, and wait until they wake up from their 8 month nap and stick the stamp on...
I looked through the industry partner section but didn't see anything
I'm looking for any upcoming level one carbine and / or pistol classes
i'm taken the md ccw training from LTTC (recommended by a local gun shop) and now i want to go to the next level
does anyone have any classes...
So I have a QC10 9mm lower (uses glock magazines) that's coming in a few more days.
Going to build a pistol out of it for now.
What upper does MD shooters like to use? Aside from PSA I'm seeing a lot of people piecing their upper together. I'm not opposed to this either.
Basically help...
After my ridiculous experience buying a suppressor without a trust, I want to have one pulled up before I buy my next.
My issue is I'm trying to determine if the "DIY / Quicken" trust will suffice, or if going to a lawyer and having a trust drawn up is a better route.
I also saw an...
Question about SBR's that you can legally buy in MD...
Suppose I buy a MD legal SBR with a 11.5" upper, go through the hoops, etc etc. Can I then switch on other uppers that are shorter than 11.5" while at the range? Or is that a no no?
Saw a SBR for sale at a gun store in cockeysville and...

So. Much. Want.
I'd be all over that like a fat kid on candy
question is: Will it be MD legal?
Is anyone doing pistol and / or carbine classes this summer?
I enjoy going to the range, but standing and shooting at one target, slow fire, is getting old.
Ideally I'd like to try something that gets me moving and gets me outside, not just standing in one place.
I haven't been around...
I'm getting conflicting answers on my two questions...
1. I know I can buy a stripped lower receiver in maryland. I also know I can build it in a pistol configuration, or in a heavy barrel configuration in compliance with the law. Can I build a stripped lower receiver, purchased after the law...
I recently moved for work up to Sparks, MD and have yet to find a decent range up here
I used to belong to Berwyn rod and gun club, and loved it. Outdoor private range that I could pretty much do whatever I wanted on (holster draw, hip shooting, etc)
I have yet to find anything like that...
Title says it all
I'm looking for a decent florist in Baltimore to deliver some roses to my girlfriend on Valentines day :)
I know I can do the 1800 pro flowers or whatever kind of crap, but I'd rather try to find a local shop
Problem is a google map search shows just shy of 2.82 bajillion...
I'm looking for some AK47 drums, maybe one or two
Everywhere I look (basic google search) all i find is korean manf., or unknown maker.
Are the korean drums decent or will I have problems with them?
If the korean drums aren't good to go, where can I find some decent drums (chinese, rommy...
So it's looking like I may inherit my grandfather's 1911a1 for a late birthday present. Does his WWII 1911 fall under C&R, or does it have to go through an FFL?
Anyone have one? I'm seeing good reviews online and it's within my price range for a 9mm.
also any industry partners have one in stock that i can check out?
I'm looking online for the cheapest place to buy some 20 round pmags. Paycheck was good this time around, and i've been wanting to pick a few up :D
The cheapest i'm seeing them for is ~$14 not including shipping. Anyone find any for less?
Thanks
I've got a job in Northern Virginia soon (fire alarm testing) and decided i want to buy a few more 30 round magazines.
I can drive wherever, since I'm already in the area. But I just need a store with a good price on magazines. pmag and cproduct are preferable, but usgi will also work for me...
So i stumbled across a thread on another forum about stand alone armor plating (the kind you put ina plate carrier) and the legality of it.
I dont know where to look to see if this is legal to own in maryland, so if anyone knows or could let me know that'd be great
THanks

anyone have experience with this ammo? seems like a good price for this? Is it safe to use at outdoor ranges?
Title's kind of self explanitory: I'm looking for a FFL that doesnt charge a lot for their transfer fees.
I live at I-495 @ I-95, so anywhere within a 30 min drive is fair game.
The only store i've been in is engage armament in kennsington and they want $70 i believe. I have no idea what...
