Have an anschutz 54 that needs fitting into a 90% complete BR stock. Inletting, pillars etc
Not looking to diy this one.
Any recommendations appreciated.

I have the same question. Old stock is for right handed shooter,new is ambidextrous. New stock is 95% done, might diy or have someone do it. Following this thread to see what comes up. Thx
the bushings work great for neck tension. What about concentricity? Some of the brass are dinged in a bit from firing. After sizing still evident. Non issue or not? Loading for benchrest.

Lol. Good point. With reloading it really is a question of how much to invest in time and tools v buying a product. Wouldn’t surprise me if there are people who machine their own brass from stock (I’m going to Google this now)
Case length is 1.515. Trim length is 1.505. I have factory loaded Sako cartridges @ 1.515 - can’t close bolt on them. Norma fits - measures at 1.505. What to do? Take bullets out of Sako, trim case and reload? Rifle is a Sako- odd they do not fit. Don’t want to force anything for all the...
Want to reload 223 cases. Spent primer measures .170, appears to be surrounded by metal ring in the primer pocket to fit. Regular.175 primer does not fit. What’s going on? Don’t know if ring is removable. Pictures attached. Thanks in advance.
Just started reading it. Does it mention anything about primers to be used with their recommended loads? Hornady specifies primers, not seeing it here. Am I missing something? Basically looking to load 223 and 308 with Varget.
