I'm going to try snagging some white perch this coming Saturday below Conowingo and would love tips on locations, bait and techniques if anyone is interested in knowledge sharing.
Just go ahead and get her a license, they're very cheap for MD residents and will expire 1 year from the date of purchase instead of at the end of the calendar year. Getting caught without a license can come with big penalties.
I regularly go fishing with my 4 year old boy to these spots in and around Harford:
Bynum Run Park - Take cheese or semi frozen hotdogs and reel in little catfish all day
Deer Creek - A good spot to park is at 39.638101, -76.412476 along Route 24 in Rocks State Park
Harford Glen Park -...
Anyone know of any good shore fishing spots in Harford along the bay or the Susquehanna? My previous favorite spot near a local quarry has been shut down. Also any good pond locations would be appreciated too.

If anyone has direction on good trout spots on Deer Creek, please pass it along.
I've been eyeballing the Shakespeare Bigwater 8' surf rods at Dick's Sports myself. As for Fisherman's Park, it is below Conowingo Dam in Harford County.
The thread got too quiet folks.

Recently son and I visited Fisherman's Park and were in awe of those guys throwing...
So the body of water I was talking about is near the intersection of Route 136 and James Run Road in Bel Air, which is next to the Lafarge Quarry. The best parking location is roughly 39.525217, -76.257124
I visited this weekend and saw a monster largemouth, but only caught his little...
Go back and re-read my last few posts and the replies from shady and rem. I was talking about my second fish that I wasn't able to properly identify, not CPC's trout.
