I sure hope the gun didn't come with a used firing pin!!! :mad54: LOL
No suppressor on it.....
I actually think that its most likely a lemon batch pin..... it happens....unfortunately. So I get it.....But a little disappointing that you spend X amount of dollars and expect more. Oh well...
What caused me to have my rifle inspected? ...... work.
Make of rifle...... Colt 6920 Socom II.
Not a table top Frankenrifle......nothing against those.
Yes....only 7-800 rounds.....maybe actually just under 1000.
Yes.....paying 200 dollars for a one day armorer course doesn't make...
Great thread/post on AR15.com....thanks for adding that in there! I have the full auto bolt carrier.... Which came with the 6920 socom II I bought. The bottom bolt carrier as it relates to that picture in that thread is basically what I have. i just thought that it was odd that after 7-800...
Had my AR inspected the other day (by a Colt Armorer) and the firing pin has to be replaced to due to wear and tear. Approximately 700-800 rounds fired, bought it brand new....any one have a similar issue?
To me, 700-800 rounds really isn't that much.... thoughts?
went for the first time last year.... wasn't too bad. I'd say its designed a bit more for the hunter than anything else. But there was some neat things to see.... like the hunting dogs expo.... mags were fairly cheap also.
Just looking for a second opinion.... 9 inch 300 blk out upper, or 12.5 inch upper. The brand is AAC.... Not a whole lot of difference. Form 1 already completed and approved for 12.5 inch. Just debating which one I should get. And in case someone is wondering, having the ATF aware of the 9 inch...
Sorry, should have been a bit more clear in my post...Should have been about 9 months .... I had to re-submit my paperwork , my fault of course. But I'm happy I have it also.... Finally get to hit the range....
God help us all.... Sheesh.... This is getting worse and worse. I hate to say it.... But one day there is going to be a crazy uprising with armed citizens VS government. The more stuff like this I see.... The more it can actually be a reality. Scary just thinking about it.
What range do we like? Every range.....except Gilbert's. The staff there is great. The range itself.... What a epic disaster. If I had the money, and owned that mess of a place...I would make that the best range in MD. Waste of space and everything there is broken and or about to break.
I see this a lot with glock owners, shooting to the "left".... And I believe, like others have already posted, that is just a result of shooter manipulation. My 34 and 21, right out of the box shot dead on. Just practice and I'm sure it will go away.
